Michael and I would have crossed paths numerous times throughout our childhood, at GAA and basketball matches, he knew my brother and Dad too, but we didn’t officially meet until 2014 – just before I moved to New York.
Thankfully things didn’t work out in the US for me and so I moved back home and we picked things up again.
Funnily enough he dropped his phone down the toilet the first night he got my number! The rest is history really.
We got married on 12 July 2019 and I became Mrs. Hyland, or Mrs. H as my denim jacket would indicate!
